Gleneden Beach

This beach sits between the great Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Range Mountains, with gorgeous scenic views that span as far as the eye can see. Hiking trails offer views of the wild life that calls this area home. Seal and Sea Lions are often spotted along the white sandy beaches and at the tip of the Salishan Spit, a three mile sand spit at the mouth of the Siletz River. Just inside the spit enjoy the Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge; this 4.5 mile peninsula loop is restricted to vehicles but open to the public for hiking and walking. Enjoy views of Cascade Head, or venture up the hiking trails and bask in the postcard views of the coastal range from the grassy meadow atop the dark green cape of Cascade Head.
